Super Eagles striker Olanrewaju Kayode has signed a permanent five year deal with Ukrainian giant, Shakhtar Donetsk.
The former U-20 international made a January loan move to the Ukranian giants after enduring difficult times with Girona in La Liga Kayode’s contract with Manchester City ended this season after having short spells in Spain and the Eastern European nation within a year.

He initially proposed move to French outfit, Amiens in the January transfer window but it did not materialize. The former Austria Wien attacker has now made his deal permanent after an impressive six months at the RSC Olimpiyskiy outfit.
The 25-year-old who was not selected in Gernot Rohr’s 30-man provisional squad for the World Cup will have something to smile about.

Kayode made his senior debut when Nigeria played a 1-1 draw against Senegal in one of the early matches of Rohr’s campaign in March, 2017.
