News Isaac Emeka: Plateau United won’t win NPFL title

The Plateau State Government has given the technical crew of Plateau United a two-match ultimatum to change the club fortunes or have their contracts terminated.

Abia Warriors midfielder Emeka Isaac has made a startling assertion that Plateau United won’t win the league.

The former Akwa United schemer told newsmen that one of the reasons he wants the league completed is because he is so sure teams who have games in hand would catch up with the league leaders.

“They are on top, but teams are coming behind them that are in form. They can’t win the league”.

Isaac further assured fans of Abia Warriors that the team would turn around their fortunes as they have always done with the league getting into squeaky bum time.

“We have been struggling but we will get better, and our fans know we are good with our end of season form”.

Abia Warriors are currently 16th on the log and a point above the relegation places.
