News Edo confirms new coronavirus case

Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, has asked the Peoples Democratic Party to show proof of allegations that the state treasury is empty.

The Edo State government has confirmed that one new case of coronavirus has been recorded in the state.

The confirmation was made by the state Governor, Godwin Obaseki, in a tweet via his Twitter account on Thursday.

The tweet reads “ COVID-19 update as at 10:00 am, 14th May, 2020.

“Edo recorded one new case of coronavirus disease.

“Total number of confirmed cases – 89.

“Total number of Active cases – 72.

“13 patients have been discharged with 4 deaths recorded.

“Residents are advised to stay home, stay safe and observe social distancing.”
