Its a day of joy for Don Jazzy as his record label, Mavin records turned 8 years today.

Mavin Records (also known as the Supreme Mavin Dynasty) was founded by Don Jazzy on May 8, 2012. The label’s inception came to fruition following the closure of Mo’ Hits Records which was owned by the producer and D’banj. The label is home to recording artistes such as Korede Bello, Dr SID, D’Prince, Di’Ja, Johnny Drille, Ladipoe, DNA Twins, Rema, and Crayon.

It also houses producers such as Jazzy himself, Altims, and Baby Fresh and in 2014, DJ Big N became the label’s official disc jockey. Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Reekado Banks, and Iyanya were all formerly signed to the label.

The award-winning singer and producer took to his Instagram page to celebrate the record label at 8 years with the caption:“#Mavin is 8 today. It’s been an interesting journey. I feel blessed and thankful that you have all supported us throughout these years. Ok so I posted this video 2 yrs ago and some of you guys have been requesting for when the song will be out. Ahaaa!!! Wait no more #TheInteresting EP containing the #Thatsinteresting single featuring moi is OUT NOWWWWW!!!!
